# New Year's Eve in Albuquerque 2026 — Parties, Countdowns and Late Bars

December 31 is a Thursday this year. Launchpad has the first party on the books. Most places post their plans in December, and we add them as they land.

- **Effex Nightclub** · Downtown · Thursdays till 2am. Three dance floors and a rooftop, Thursday through Saturday.
- **The Dirty Bourbon Dance Hall & Saloon** · NE Heights · Thursdays till 2am. Country dance hall with a 1,300-square-foot floor and live bands Thursday through Saturday.
- **Albuquerque Social Club** · Nob Hill · Thursdays till 2am. Albuquerque's oldest gay bar, open since 1983.
- **Leo's** · North Valley · Thursdays till 2am. North Valley nightclub with norteño bands and Mexican regional dance nights.
- **Bar Uno** · Downtown · Thursdays till 1:30am. The smallest and most dog-friendly bar in town, by its own count.
